I am thrilled to announce that the golden age musical, Damn Yankees, gently revised by Pulitzer Prize winning writer Doug Wright and myself (we’re calling it a “revisal”) will open the diamond 75th anniversary season at Arena Stage. Directed by Tony Award winner Sergio Trujillo, with additional lyrics by the Tony Award winning Lynn Ahrens, this project has been an honor for me to be a part of. We are excited to premiere the piece in Washington DC before its eventual Broadway run. Let’s do this!
