My new Children’s Book In the West End, just dropped here in Atlanta. The book follows an energetic, amazing little boy that ventures out with his Mom through the West End (the historic African-American neighborhood in Atlanta) to find healthy and tasty vegan food for his Grandma who has to change the way she eats because of her health. The book is illustrated by Corretta Scott King award winning illustrator R. Gregory Christie. The work was created as a commission for the Mayor’s Summer reading Club and will be distributed to 17,000 3-5 year olds in the Atlanta metro area.
